The commencement of Phase 2 in the Season of Discovery for World of Warcraft Classic has been officially announced, scheduled to kick off on February 8. Also a brief video accompanying the post depicts a character in Stranglethorn Vale observing the sun rapidly transforming into a bright, bloody red hue. While this could symbolize the impending conflict in the new PvP event, there’s speculation that it may be linked to a hidden secret. The Zul’Gurub raid, home to the infamous Blood Plague of Hakkar, is situated in the same zone, raising the possibility of a connection to the iconic raid boss.
However, WoW SoD Phase 2 marks just the initial stage of Season of Discovery in 2024. The World of Warcraft roadmap for the year discloses that Classic Season of Discovery has four more phases in the pipeline: Phase 3 at level 50, followed by Phases 4 and 5 at level 60.
